In Ignite, Dex is a divorced dad of two little girls, Hallie and Luna. He’s a firefighter and ex-Navy SEAL doing his grumpy best to co-parent his two girls.
Winnie is the daughter of Mack and Frannie (Irresistible). She’s a romantic who always builds men up in her head with romantic visions of their future together. Winnie is Dex’s next door neighbor at the new townhouse he’s purchased.
Dex and Winnie have an instant attraction for one another but it’s not insta-love! It’s super hot. They have such great chemistry. Dex is a swoony, grumpy, hot man who can mend ripped dresses. After he does the ripping. Winnie is a sunshine soul and her positive energy makes Dex happy.
Dex’s relationship with his daughters is funny and adorable.

I loved the interactions between Dex and Hallie and Luna, they made me laugh out loud.
Winnie and Dex had me cheering for their wins and crying over their losses; they are so perfect together. Ignite just made me happy. Going back to Cloverleigh Farms was like being embraced in a warm hug.
