Ever After Always Arrives Post-Happily Ever After and It is Wonderful

In Ever After Always, above all, Chloe Liese honours the honesty, vulnerability and work that goes into maintaining the love of oneself and one another in marriage. Ever After Always is a beautiful portrayal of marriage and family and the loving ties that bind that cannot be missed.

What you need to know about Ever After Always:
✔ Steamy Slow Burn
✔ Marriage-in-Crisis Romance
✔ Complete stand-alone
✔ Opposites Attract
✔ Hot Professor with anxiety disorder
✔ Fierce-loving physical therapist wife
✔ Bergman brothers antics (Book #3)
✔ A Hawaiian vacation with the whole family

Freya and Aiden’s almost ten-year-old marriage is in trouble. Aiden hasn’t told Freya that his anxiety has been crushing him for the last few months. He thinks he’s been handling it but Freya is going out of her mind feeling that their marriage has become stale and Aiden has become complacent.

Aiden’s childhood poverty and anxiety combine to cause him to manifest his love through work to provide financial stability for Freya but he’s overdoing it to the detriment of his marriage. Aiden somehow cannot see this and he also cannot express to Freya the reasons for his late night work sessions so she only feels the growing distance between them.

Underneath it all, they are both aching to correct the wrongs they’ve inflicted on one another and close the distance between the two of them but they don’t quite know how.

Chloe Liese expertly enables the readers to experience their yearning sense of loss for one another, the wish to recapture the glory days of their marriage, the pain of all the remembered slights that get in the way, and the unspoken words they can’t seem to say to get it back.

The Bergman brothers, of course, attempt to help their sister and brother-in-law in their own crazy, meddling ways which include a kidnapping, a catcalling parrot, a bit of a Lisa Kleypas book club (sign me up!), and a prank gone too far involving a clown.

The Bergmans are a beautiful family full of an expressive kind of love and shared vulnerabilities that Aiden needs to see and mirror.

In Ever After Always, Chloe Liese expertly and sensitively explores a marriage going through a troubled period and the efforts necessary to find what comes after happily ever after.

Plot Description
Buckle up for an emotional journey of hijinks, heartache, and a hot slow-burn in this marriage-in-crisis romance about going the distance to make love last.

EVER AFTER ALWAYS is a marriage-in-crisis, opposites-attract romance about a sensitive, fierce-loving woman and her resilient husband who has anxiety disorder. Complete with island vacation antics, a sibling prank gone wrong, and a steamy slow burn, this standalone is the third in a series of novels about a Swedish-American family of five brothers, two sisters, and their wild adventures as they each find happily ever after.

Ever After Always is Book Three in the Bergmans Series by Chloe Liese. Every book in this series has been a five-star read for me. Always Only You was one of my Top Reads of 2020. Only When It’s Us was also a Five Star Read for me. I recommend the entire series and can’t wait for With You Forever, which is Axel’s book.
