One Last Time by Roxie Noir
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Seth and Delilah have loved one another since they were 16 years old. They are like those magnets you find on office desks: smashing into each other over and over again until finally clicking together and coming into proper alignment and sticking together to swing back and forth forever more.
They spend most of their lives, until this point, out of alignment, hurting one another, even though they are desperate for one another. They keep crashing together in passionate meetings only to end up pulled apart once again.
Seth has seemed up to now to the be the most careless Loveless brother but now you get the why behind it. What a story.
Delilah is a complicated, real, sometimes frustrating human being. She doesn’t fit in with her upper crust family, she doesn’t understand herself or her motivations but she’s working on it.
I loved this story. It was real. It was angsty. It was passionate. I’m sad it’s the end of the Loveless brothers books. But I guess I’ll have to go back to the beginning now.
