Beach Read meets The Flatshare in this warmly funny and delightfully sharp debut rom-com about a down-on-her-luck young woman who turns an innocent mix-up between a dating app and a roommate app into a new chance at love.
She wasn’t looking for love until it landed on her doorstep.
After getting passed over for an overdueโand much-neededโpromotion, Sadie Green is in desperate need of three things: a stiff drink, a new place to live, and a one-night stand. When one drink turns into one too many, Sadie mixes up a long-ignored dating app for a roommate-finding app and finds herself on the doorstep of Jack Thomasโs gorgeous Brooklyn brownstone. Too bad sheโs more attracted to his impressive real estate than she is to the man himself.
Jack, still grieving the unexpected death of his parents, has learned to find comfort in video games and movie marathons instead of friends. So while he doesnโt know just what to make of the vivaciously verbose Sadie, heโs willing to offer her his spare bedroom while she gets back on her feet. And with the rent unbeatably low, Sadie can finally pursue her floristry side hustle full-time. The two are polar opposites, but as Sadieโs presence begins to turn the brownstone into a home, they both start to realize they may have just made the deal of a lifetime.

She does everything right. So what could go wrong?
Mackenzie “Mac” Cabot is a people pleaser. Her demanding parents. Her prep school friends. Her long-time boyfriend. It’s exhausting, really, always following the rules. Unlike most twenty-year-olds, all she really wants to do is focus on growing her internet business, but first she must get a college degree at her parents’ insistence. That means moving to the beachside town of Avalon Bay, a community made up of locals and the wealthy students of Garnet College.
Mac’s had plenty of practice suppressing her wilder impulses, but when she meets local bad boy Cooper Hartley, that ability is suddenly tested. Cooper is rough around the edges. Raw. Candid. A threat to her ordered existence. Their friendship soon becomes the realest thing in her life.
Despite his disdain for the trust-fund kids he sees coming and going from his town, Cooper soon realizes Mac isn’t just another rich clone and falls for her. Hard. But as Mac finally starts feeling accepted by Cooper and his friends, the secret he’s been keeping from her threatens the only place she’s ever felt at home.
Followingย Written in the Starsย andย Hang the Moon, national bestselling author Alexandria Bellefleur pens another steamy queer rom-com about former best friends who might be each other’s second chance at loveโฆ

Will history repeat itself or should she count her lucky stars that she gets a second chance with her first love?ย ย
From the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of 44 Chapters About 4 Men (inspiration for the 4th Most-Watched Netflix Original Series of all time, Sex/Life) comes a fun, forbidden romantic comedy about an inexperienced psychologist and her ultra-famous client.
I am thiiiiis close to finally becoming a full-fledged psychologist. PhD? Check. Prestigious postdoc position, providing therapy to entitled millionaires and C-list celebrities whose pumpkin spice lattes cost more than my Converse and make excellent projectiles during their reality TVโworthy tantrums? Check. Letter of recommendation from my velociraptor-like supervisor?
Thatโs going to take a miracle. Not only because my boss said I have to cure our most-prized clientโs writerโs block in time for him to meet his insane deadline, but also because that client just so happens to be โฆ
Thomas F*@%ing OโReardon.
Yeah, that Thomas OโReardon. The wickedly brilliant, achingly beautiful, devastatingly British best-selling author whose psychological thrillers line my bookshelf at home and whose face I might or might not picture while I โฆ you get the point. Sitting in a confined space with him; inhaling the crisp, clean scent of his cologne; gazing into his broody blue eyes while trying to remember to nod and listen and come up with suggestions that donโt involve taking our clothes off โฆ itโs torture.
So, when Thomas casually asks me out at the end of a therapy session, Iโm forced to make an impossible choice: say yes and risk losing my dream job, or say no and risk losing my dream guy. In a panic, I blurt out a third optionโthe only solution I can think of that will allow me to see this man after hours without it being considered a career-ending ethics violation:
Group therapy.
The only problem? Iโve never actually done group therapy. And side problem: my other clients are heathens. But whatโs the worst that could happen? I mean, itโs not like Iโm going to lose all control of the group and let it devolve into a chaotic, bloodthirsty, topless fight club.
Right?
What happens when a hellraiser turned hot cop is stuck with a headstrong heiress heโs determined to protect…and resist?
A run-away bride, wearing a freakinโ tiara, and carrying a stolen lion cub, of all things. This was not how rowdy, bad-boy-turned-small-town-cop, Zander Landry expected his day to go.
He really didnโt expect his night to end with her sleeping in his bed after her near-kidnapping.
But his intense attraction to her and the feelings of protectiveness she stirs up? Oh, yeah, he knew those were coming.
Sheโs stunning, whip-smart, and trouble with a capital T.
Which means, he needs her to head right back the way she came. ASAP.
His town is exactly the way he wants it . . . crazy and trouble free.
Well, the crazy trouble heโs not related to anyway.
Stranded in a tiny town in her half-million-dollar wedding gown with no money and no place to go . . . today is going pretty much exactly the way Caroline Holland expected it to.
But the grumpy, tattooed, oh-my-god hot cop being the answer to all her problems isnโt at all what she expected.
Now that sheโs turned all the criminal (and obnoxious) info about her exotic-animal-dealing ex-fiance over to Zander, she can kick back in a hammock with some sweet tea and relax.
Or not.
Turns out Carolineโs not the spoiled heiress Zander thinks she is. The gorgeous hellion wants in on the action and soon discovers just how dirty things can get in the bayou. And the bedroom.
More and more, Zander just wants her safe on the sidelines. But Caroline isnโt going anywhere until justice is done.
Itโs a clash of wills thatโs gonna get hotter than a crawfish boil in July. And the most fun the Landry family has had watching sparks fly since . . . well, the last book.

Have you ever fake dated your bodyguard? I don’t recommend it.
Especially if he’s anything like Erik Wilder: former football player, world class know-it-all and unapologetic grump.
To be clear, I didn’t want a bodyguard (hence the fake dating idea). Most days, I canโt figure out why he wants the job either. We drive each other insane, probably because weโre as opposite as two people can be.
Heโs suspicious, never talks about his past and has the comfort skills of a cactus. Iโm a happily ever after kinda girl who knows exactly what she wants out of life.
Erikโs words might say that the lines have to stay firm between us, but those dark eyes of his? They tell another story when he looks at me.
Heโs just as stubborn as I am, but when our fake dating plan starts to feel a lot more real, it’s only a matter of time before his professional walls come crashing down.
I just have to hope my heart doesn’t get buried in the rubble.
February 11
The golden angel who swooped in to save me from a nightmare first date turns out to be a billionaire vulture circling the company I work for.
Carter Kingsley: My savior and ruthless corporate raider hell bent on destroying the newspaper I love. Oh, and my new boss.
His first order of business? Cut half the staff. I should hate him. Easy, right?
Wrong.
I met him two weeks ago, when he saved me from the most awkward first date of my life. I was looking for a way out when he strolled up in a ten-thousand dollar suit with a winning smile, and told a white lie that turned the date from hell into heavenly bliss.
I left with his number in my phone, and spent the next two weeks staying up late to text him. He’s charming. Funny. Sincere.
Completely unlike the ruthless villain who comes in and carves us up.
My first order of business is to interview the new boss. But who is sitting on the other side of the desk? The man who saved and charmed me, or the one whoโs threatening everything I hold dear?
Carter insists that we can still be friends, but I know that the whole situation is a ticking time bomb.
