Sexy, Heartwarming, Funny and Angsty Romance
“Call Me Crazy” by Melanie Harlow is another fun and sexy romantic comedy in the Bellamy Creek series. I loved the tension between Enzo and Bianca as they went from enemies to friends to lovers as well as the big Italian families featured in this book. In addition to many funny scenes, the wedding vows the two wrote for each other were absolutely hilarious.

Enzo needs to be married by the time he turns 35 in order to become the CEO of the family construction business. Bianca wants to have a baby before it’s too late for her as she has some fertility issues. They run into one another one night after Enzo has failed at a marriage proposal to a 21-year-old he was dating. Due to the demands of their strict Italian families they agree to a marriage of convenience so that Enzo can get his inheritance and Bianca can get his sperm donation within the “comfort” of a marriage.
Bianca and Enzo’s love and affection for one another are evident from the moment they meet on the page. They’ve known each other since they were kids and really know how to push each other’s buttons, but as their walls come down their intimacy grows. It gives you such a heartwarming feeling to experience their growing relationship and the small touches and the ways they show their love for one another, not that they can admit it.
Enzo and Bianca have some incredibly painful obstacles to overcome. Ones that could tear any marriage apart. In addition, they’ve been lying to their families about their marriage. Melanie Harlow really ratchets up the angst in this book. Bianca and Enzo’s experiences tore my heart apart but then this beautiful love story stitched it right back up.
Melanie Harlow has done it again with “Call Me Crazy”, creating characters that you believe in with real struggles that you feel in your depths and a happily ever after that fills your heart with joy.
