There’s a lot of romantic comedies this month which are my personal favourite, but there’s a lot of variety within that category. First of we have a few that were already released because this post is a little late. Oops.
“Always Only You”, was released on August 4th and is currently rated at 4.8/5 on Amazon! It’s #23 in Sports Romance and #1 in Autism. I reviewed it here and gave it five stars. I was lucky enough to have my review quoted on the Amazon page for this book.
“Exodus” by Kate Stewart is the finale to the Ravenhood Duet which began in “Flock” which I reviewed here. It is definitely not a romantic comedy. It is an intense, angsty, roller coaster of emotions. It was supposed to be released on August 6th but was live early. I was once again lucky enough to have part of my review quoted on the Flock Amazon page. If you’re up for some angst in your Summer reads then I would recommend this duet.
Next up for August 6th we have Meghan Quinn’s last book in her Port Snow series, otherwise known as the Getting Lucky series: “That Swoony Feeling”. I feel pretty sad about this one. I really loved this series. I’m not sure if I’ll have a full review for Brig’s book up in the future. I gave it a 4/5. I would read this entire series again. It is currently #1 in Romantic Comedy on Amazon!
Helena Hunting is releasing “Kiss My Cupcake” on August 11th. I haven’t read this one. (!) As two neighborhood shop owners battle for business, they prove opposites attract in this “deliciously sweet and savory new romantic comedy” (USA Today bestselling author Abby Jimenez). I absolutely love everything Helena Hunting writes so I’m really looking forward to this one. It’s a #1 New Release!
Releasing on August 18th, is Ilsa Madden-Mills, “Not My Romeo” which I reviewed here. It’s a Sports Romantic Comedy filled with a wonderful cast a small town characters with a professional football hero and a feisty small-town heroine. (That’s British male model William F. Goodge on the cover if you’re wondering)
On August 25th, Avery Flynn releases “The Wedding Date Disaster”, which I reviewed here. I loved it! I gave it five stars (which is why I’m recommending it to you!) It has “chemistry that is off the charts!” – I got another blurb on Amazon!
