Husband Material / The Hookup Plan / Ben and Beatriz / The Fixer Upper
Wanted:
One (very real) husband
Nowhere near perfect but desperately trying his best
In BOYFRIEND MATERIAL, Luc and Oliver met, pretended to fall in love, fell in love for real, dealt with heartbreak and disappointment and family and friendsโฆand somehow figured out a way to make it work. Now it seems like everyone around them is getting married, and Lucโs feeling the social pressure to propose. But itโll take more than four weddings, a funeral, and a bowl full of special curry to get these two from I donโt know what Iโm doing to I do.
Good thing Oliver is such perfect HUSBAND MATERIAL.
This Summer 2022, youโre invited to the event(s) of the season.
My review is here.
Strong female friendships and a snappy enemies-to-lovers theme take center stage in this highly anticipated romantic comedy from the USA Today bestselling author of The Dating Playbook.
Successful pediatric surgeon London Kelley just needs to find some balance and de-stress. According to her friends Samiah and Taylor, what London really needs is a casual hookup. A night of fun with no strings. But no oneโleast of all Londonโexpected it to go down at her high school reunion with Drew Sullivan, millionaire, owner of delicious abs, and oh yes, her archnemesis.
Now London is certain the road to hell is paved with good sex. Because sheโs found out the real reason Drewโs back in Austin: to decide whether her beloved hospital remains open. Worse, Drew is doing everything he can to show her that heโs a decent guy who actually cares. But Londonโs not falling for it. Because while sleeping with the enemy is one thing, falling for him is definitely not part of the plan.
Thereโs nothing like falling for your worst enemy.
Beatriz Herrera is a fierce woman who will take you down with her quick wit and keen intellect. And after the results of the 2016 election worked hard to erase her identity as a queer biracial woman, sheโd be right to. Especially if you come for her sweet BFF cousin, Hero. Beatriz would do anything for her, a loyalty that lands Beatriz precisely where she doesnโt want to be: spending a week at the ridiculous Cape Cod mansion of stupid-hot playboy Ben Montgomery. The same Ben Montgomery she definitely shouldnโt have hooked up with that one timeโฆ The things we do for family.
White and wealthy, Ben talks the talk and walks the walk of privilege, but deep down, heโs wrestling with the politics and expectations of a conservative family he canโt relate to. Though Beatrizโs caustic tongue drives him wild in the very best way, he’s the last person she’d want, because she has zero interest in compromising her identity. But as her and Benโs assumptions begin to unravel and their hookups turn into something real, they start wondering if itโs still possible to hold space for one another and the inescapable love that unites them.
This retelling of Shakespeareโs Much Ado About Nothing is both razor-sharp and swoon-worthy: the perfect love story for our time.
In this funny and sharp romantic comedy, a woman with a knack for turning her boyfriendsโ lives around starts a professional service to help wrangle men, only to be unexpectedly matched with an old flame.
Ever since she can remember, Aly has been fixing everything around her: her parentsโ marriage, her colleaguesโ work problems, and her friendsโ love lives. After a chance meeting with an ex who has gone from a living in his parentsโ basement to a married project manager in three years, she realizes sheโs been fixing her boyfriends, tooโฆ
So, Aly decides to put her talents to good use and, alongside two work friends, sets up The Fixer Upper, an exclusive, underground service for women who are tired of unpaid emotional labor. Using little tricks and tips, Aly and her friends get the men to do the work themselves โ to get out of the job they hate, sign up for that growth seminar, to do more parenting. Before long, a high-profile Instagram star hires them to fix-up her app developer boyfriend. Thereโs just one catch โ heโs also Alyโs childhood best friend and first love. As Aly tackles her biggest โfixer upperโ yet, sheโll have to come to terms with their complicated history and figure out how much to change someone sheโd always thought was perfect as he isโฆ

Fling
Subject: You up?
This is definitely a feeling cute, might want to delete later situation. But isnโt every message sent at two in the morning a precursor to regret?
By the way, I hope you read that subject line as the pun it was intended to be.
Okay, cutting to the chaseโneither of us has an interest in cultivating an emotional connection with each other, right? You have your reasons, and I have mine. But none of that keeps us from nearly crossing the line from professional to personal every freaking day.
I mean, what was that almost kiss in the hallway this afternoon?
Something has to give. So this is me, giving in.
I canโt believe Iโm suggesting this, but what if you and I had โฆ a fling?
Just a short-lived non-romance. No pretending it will ever be more. Weโll avoid flowers and flirting and get to the fโyou know what I mean.
Thatโs all either of us wants anyway.
Think about it. Let me know.
Iโll see you in the office in the morning.
Oh! One more thingโIf youโre not into this, donโt ever mention you saw this email. Iโll pretend I never saw it either.
Okay. Bye.

Love On The Brain / My Fake Fiancรฉ / Heartbreaker / Would You Rather / The Luck of Finding You / Not Your Basic Love Story / You & I Rewritten
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new STEMinist rom-com in which a scientist is forced to work on a project with her nemesisโwith explosive results.
Bee Kรถnigswasser lives by a simple code: What would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project – a literal dream come true – Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.
Sure, Levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. But Levi made his feelings toward Bee very clear in grad school – archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away.
But when her equipment starts to go missing and the staff ignore her, Bee could swear she sees Levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas… devouring her with those eyes. The possibilities have all her neurons firing.
But when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there’s only one question that matters: What will Bee Kรถnigswasser do?
I never felt truly desired by a manโuntil him.
The second he stepped foot into my small town Alaskan inn, his gaze swept over my curvy figure with desire, igniting a flame I thought was dead. He flirted with me, and I mightโve left two chocolates on his pillow at turndown, but thatโs where it stayed.
Over the years, heโs floated in and out of town while a friendship developed between us. Itโs probably for the best because Iโm not a one-night stand kind of woman.
Which is funny because when he propositions me to be his fake fiancรฉe in order to end a family feud, it turns out I am the kind of woman willing to pretend to be the one heโs in love with.
New York Times bestselling author Sarah MacLean follows her highly acclaimed Bombshell with Heartbreaker, featuring a fierce, fearless heroine on a mission to steal a dukeโs secretsโฆand his heart.
A Princess of Thieves
Raised among Londonโs most notorious criminals, a twist of fate landed Adelaide Frampton in the bright ballrooms of Mayfair, where she masquerades as a quiet wallflowerโso plain and unassuming that no one realizes sheโs the Matchbreakerโฆusing her superior skills as a thief to help brides avoid the altar.
A King of Reputation
Henry, Duke of Clayborn, has spent a lifetime living in perfection. He has no time for the salacious gossip that arises every time the Matchbreaker ends another groom. His own reputation is impeccableโand the last thing he needs is a frustrating, fascinating woman discovering the truth of his past, or the secrets he holds close.
A Royal Match
When the two find themselves on a breakneck journey across Britain to stop a wedding, itโs impossible for Clayborn to resist this woman who both frustrates and fascinates him. But late-night carriage rides make for delicious dangerโฆand soon Adelaide is uncovering Claybornโs truths, throwing his well-laid plans into chaosโฆand threatening to steal his heavily guarded heart.
Noah and Mia have always been best friends, and their friendship is the most important thing to them. Life is going great for Noah and heโs up for a promotion in a job he loves. But Miaโs life is on hold as she awaits a kidney transplant. Sheโs stuck in a dead-end job and, never wanting to be a burden, has sworn off all romance. So when the chance of a lifetime comes to go back to school and pursue her dream, itโs especially painful to pass up. She canโt quit her job or sheโll lose the medical insurance she so desperately needs.
To support her, Noah suggests they get marriedโin name onlyโso she can study full-time and still keep the insurance. Itโs a risk to both of them, with jobs, health and hearts on the line, and theyโll need to convince suspicious coworkers and nosy roommates that theyโre the real deal. But if they can let go of all the baggage holding them back, they might realize that they would rather be together forever.
Can you fall in love with the same person twice?
Exactly five years, five months, and three days ago I spent a single afternoon with a guy, Noah, and promptly fell in love with him. Then he left without leaving a number or his last name.
Now heโs standing above me in the same tiny cafe we met all those years ago. And heโs a grown man with an easy smile thatโs making me feel eighteen again. But I donโt fall in love, not anymore.
Which is why I make this promise to myself. I will not fall in love with Noah. Again. Even if I do have to work with him every day for the next year in his Grandmaโs book store, thanks to her will.
And I will not fall in love with Mo, my online best friend whoโs suggesting that we finally meet in person after two years of talking.
Because in the end, guys always leave, and happily ever afters only exist in romance novels.
Stubbornly independent Becky isn’t looking for love, but when sparks fly on a flight to Mexico she learns her carefully planned life might be the opposite of what she needs. What begins as a fun vacation fling with a tall, sexy stranger turns into so much more. The problem? Dev and Becky couldn’t be more different. Back home in Vancouver, Canada, their relationship grows, and their two worlds collide.
Can a roommate-hating city girl with a diet of chicken nuggets and cheap wine make it work with a vegetarian, non-drinking, Sikh man who lives with his rambunctious multigenerational family in the suburbs?
As Becky navigates her way through a culture she knows nothing about, she is faced with one of the most important decisions of her life: change her plans for how she’d imagined her happily-ever-after, or walk away from love.
(Not) Your Basic Love Story is a RomCom about acceptance, compromise, and love being the only thing that truly matters.
Not to jinx it or anything, but the stars seem to finally be aligning for Will Cowen. After accepting a dream promotion at one of New York Cityโs most renowned publishing houses and moving in with his oldest friend, heโs ready to dive headfirst into this new chapter and take the literary world by storm โ that is, until he crosses paths with Graham Austin.
No matter how hard he tries, he canโt help but put the wrong foot forward in front of the all-business and inconveniently gorgeous heir to the publishing empire.
So, when a heartbreakingly beautiful manuscript lands on his desk, Will seizes the opportunity for a win. Could this prized new author be his big break or, his downfall?
Willโs confidence and hope for his professional future is obliterated when the author ghosts him at an important publishing event. Fueled by insecurity and an open bar, he finds himself in need of comfort, which comes from the least likely person, the normally cold and distant Graham. This small glimpse behind Grahamโs icy exterior is the spark that sweeps these two up in an epic and unforeseen romance.
As his authorโs manuscript begins to take shape, the words that initially brought them together become more and more tangled, making it painfully obvious to Will that despite your best efforts, there is truly no hiding from the past.
But can it be rewritten?

Mercy
I donโt want to hurt himโI just want to punish him. โ
โ
Itโs bad enough being the only female owner of the Salacious Playersโ Club, but Iโm also the only one without a kink, or so I thought. โ
โ
Imagine my surprise when the kink quiz suggests that Iโm not so vanilla after all. โ
โ
In fact, Iโm a lot more like Emerson Grant than I thought.โ
Just one problemโI have no idea how to be a Domme.โ
โ
That is, until the app matches me with someone willing to help me learn. โ
โ
Heโs too young for me.โ
Too stubborn. Too good looking. โ
And, oh yeah, my friendโs son.โ
โ
Beau Grant is a brat. Iโd hate that about him if I didnโt love punishing him so much. โ
Underneath all of that attitude is a man who is misunderstood, selfless, and in need of direction.โ
โ
But if he wants mercy, he has to earn it. โ
โ
There are a million reasons why I should stay away, but Iโm tired of doing what everyone thinks I should do.โ
โ
I finally know what I want, and Iโm ready to take whatโs mine.โ

Mixed Signals / The Do-Over / In A Jam
Layla Dupree has given up on love.
Sheโs waded through all of the fish in the sea, each one more disappointing than the last. Apparently owning the bakery at Inglewildโs most romantic destination does not help oneโs love lifeโdespite her best efforts. All she wants is a partner who gives her butterflies, not someone who ghosts her at dinner and leaves her with the check.
Good thing Caleb Alvarez has the perfect solution.
After saving Layla from another date gone bad, he has a simple proposition: One month of no-strings dating. Heโll do his best to renew her faith in men while she rates his dating game. Itโs a win-win situation. All the benefits of dating, without the added pressure of feelings and unmet expectations.
But thereโs one ingredient they havenโt considered. The chemistry between them is red hot and the urge to take things to the next level is more tempting than Laylaโs double fudge mocha brownies.
Will the heat between them boil over? Or will it be another case of mixed signals?
Mixed Signals is a sweet and steamy small-town romance. Our story features a bashful man who can rock a Hawaiian shirt, a hopeful and dreamy bakery owner, enough sweets to give you a cavity, and your favorite Inglewild residents. Mixed Signals is a standalone romance and the third book in the Lovelight series, a collection of interconnected novels.
In this sexy installment of the Miles High Club series from bestselling author T L Swan, a billionaire playboy goes incognito on a backpacking trip in Europe. But how long can he hide from love?
I’m wealthy, powerful, and able to get any woman I want.
So why do I feel so empty inside?
In search of a deeper me, I take a sabbatical from my privileged life. One year of backpacking around Europe: a new identity, no contacts, and no money. Not a bad plan, I think.
Until I get there.
A crowded hostel room, body odor, and beer bongsโthere are no words for the fresh hell Iโve landed in.
But amid the chaos, I meet my new roommate, Hayden Whitmore. She sleeps in the bed opposite me, and I openly admit to staring at her more than I sleep. Beautiful, innocent, and smart. Not my usual type but perhaps the perfect woman.
Thereโs just one small problem with the divine Miss Hayden. Sheโs totally unaffected by my charm. Nothing is working, and now, Iโve been friend zoned.
What?
But the good thing about me is that Iโm an incredible problem solver, and Iโve come up with a diabolical plan. Iโm going to slide right in under her friend zone. Be the best damn friend she ever had, hold her hand, make her laugh, and spoon with her in bed.
But now thereโs another problem.
Hayden is the one who is sliding under my skin, and maybe friendship isnโt enough.
When Shay Zucconiโs step-grandmother died, she left Shay a tulip farmโunder two conditions.
First, Shay has to move home to the small town of Friendship, Rhode Island. Secondโand most problematic since her fiancรฉ just called off the weddingโShay must be married within one year.
Marriage is the last thing in the world Shay wants but sheโll do anything to save the only real home sheโs ever known.
Noah Barden loved Shay Zucconi back in high school. Not that he ever told her. He was too shy, too awkward, too painfully uncool to ask out the beautiful, popular girl.
A lifetime later, Noah is a single dad to his niece and has his hands full running the family business. That old crush is the farthest thing from his mind.
Until Shay returns to their hometown.
